Our commitment
Surf City Social wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and we review the Site when we make changes.
What we’ve done
- Pages declare their language, use a logical heading structure, and use clear page titles.
- A “Skip to main content” link is available at the top of each page for keyboard and screen reader users.
- All meaningful images have text alternatives.
- Buttons and links have clear labels, including the phone and email links.
- Text and button colors were checked for sufficient contrast.
- The site is designed to work with a keyboard, including the mobile menu, and focused links and buttons show a visible outline.
- Links and buttons are sized to be easy to tap on touch screens.
- Pages resize for phones and tablets and support browser zoom. Motion effects are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
- The Site has no forms, pop-ups, auto-playing media or time limits.
